WCC Announces Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference (WCC) has officially announced the league schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 women's basketball season on Tuesday morning.
The University of San Francisco women's basketball team is set to compete in an 18-game conference schedule, with games split between home at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center and on the road. Notable contests include meetings against defending WCC regular-season champions LMU, Bay Area rivals Santa Clara and Saint Mary's, and concluding the campaign against conference newcomer Denver at home.
Following its 13-game nonconference slate, the green and gold begin league play on the road, traveling to Southern California to take on Pepperdine on December 31 and San Diego on January 2.
Returning to the Hilltop for three of the next four games, the program hosts LMU in an anticipated home opener at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center on January 7. The Dons will also welcome Saint Mary's and Santa Clara on January 14 + 16 to close the stretch of home contests.
The first month of the year ends with three straight road games at Seattle U (January 21), at Portland (January 23), and at LMU (January 28), before San Francisco hosts San Diego on January 30.
February features eight total games, highlighted by the program's second-ever trip to Hamilton Gymnasium to face off against Denver for the first time as conference opponents on February 13.
Returners from last season's roster include Candy Edokpaigbe, Aina Cargol, Nataša Taušová, Noelia Mouriño, and Paula Tirado, while talented transfers Ines Babaya (Salt Lake City Community College), Jayda Queeley (Pittsburgh), Savi Mi (Dodge City Community College), Keiryn McGuff (Akron/Bowling Green), and Lucia Yenes (New Mexico State) add depth and experience to the program. Belize Ibáñez Mengüç, Emilie Beggs, and Maria Burliga complete the roster as they enter their first seasons on the Hilltop as freshmen.
