Smart Earns USF Challenge All-Tournament Honors

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Following the conclusion of the USF Challenge, the University of San Francisco volleyball program announced the four-member All-Tournament Team, highlighted by Dons setter Jordan Smart.
Smart earned All-Tournament honors after helping guide San Francisco to a perfect 3-0 record throughout the three-day event at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
Across three matches, Smart totaled 71 assists, 19 digs, two service aces and two kills while directing the San Francisco offense.
SMART'S WEEKEND:
- Smart opened the USF Challenge with 25 assists, five digs and one kill in San Francisco's four-set victory over Texas Southern. The Dons hit .336 as a team and recorded 62 kills in the win.
- Against Northern Arizona, Smart recorded a tournament-high 26 assists to go along with 13 digs, one service ace and one kill as San Francisco earned a straight-set victory, 31-29, 25-20, 25-22.
- Smart closed out the weekend with 20 assists and one service ace in the Dons' 3-0 sweep of California Baptist. San Francisco hit .443 in the match, including .476 in the second set and .462 in the third.
- Behind Smart's efforts at setter, the Dons finished the USF Challenge undefeated with wins over Texas Southern, Northern Arizona and California Baptist.
