2018 (SENIOR): Played in 18 games making 10 starts...played in 691 minutes, played 50 or more minutes five times...took nine shots with one on goal for a .143 shots on goal percentage...had one assist on the year which came in the 3-2 win over Portland...took a season-high two shots with one on goal in the win over Saint Mary's on senior day.
2017 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 20 games for the Dons on 2017, a career-best…she started in 11 of those contests…played in 1,013 minutes on the year with a season-high 102 minutes in the 1-1 tie against No. 17 Oklahoma State on Sep. 15…had one assist on the year, took a pass from Sonja Giraud and feed the ball to Desiree Major to break a scoreless tie…took 19 shots on the year with six on goal for a .316 shot on goal percentage.
2016 (SOPHOMORE): Emerged as a key midfield presence, starting in 17 of her 19 appearances... netted the game-winner in the 110th minute against Arizona State (Sept. 9)... also tallied a game-winner against UC Davis (Sept. 18) for her only other goal of the year... fired off 18 shots with five shots on goal... logged a season-high 78 minutes in a loss to Portland (Oct. 28).
2015 (FRESHMAN): Made 15 appearances with one start…lone start came against Loyola Marymount (Oct. 11)…scored two goals on the year – vs. Denver (Sept. 4) and vs. BYU (Oct. 22)…took 12 shots overall with six shots on goal…played a season-high 67 minutes against LMU (Oct. 11).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Attended C.K. McClatchy High School...named team MVP...played club soccer with San Juan Soccer Club (ECNL), helping lead them to nationals in Virginia.
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 4, 1997 in Sacramento, Calif....parents are Jerry and Araceli Mercado.
