2018 Track & Field: Qualified for the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships in the 5,000 meters…set the school record in the 5,000m wit his mark of 13:43.75 at the Cardinal Classic (Apr. 20)…his time of 3:44.02 at the Payton Jordan Invitational (May 3) in the 1,500m was a personal best and ranks second in USF track and field program history…at the Washington Invite (Jan. 27), his mark of 8:14.54 in the 3,000 meters saw him finish 8th and the sixth fastest time in that event in program history.
2017 Cross Country: Competed in four of the five races for the Dons this season...finished 81st at the Nuttycombe Invitational with a time of 24:28.8...ran a season-best 8K time of 24:24.9 at the WCC Championships finishing 19th...earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors, placing 17th at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 29:53.4.
Prep/International: Competed in the 2016 World University Cross Country Championships … raced in the European Cross Country Championships with team Britain in Dec. 2015 … team captain at St. Mary’s … played rugby, football and cricket at the Northampton School for Boys … Earned a bachelor’s of science in sports coaching science from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham before matriculating to USF.
Personal: Pursing a graduate degree in Asia Pacific Studies at USF and contemplating a profession as a business entrepreneur … son of Louise Lecky-Thompson … enjoys singing and playing guitar in his spare time … born Oct. 3, 1994, in Northampton, England.
