SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. –The University of San Francisco women's basketball team and Head Coach Molly Goodenbour have announced the signing of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American Savi Mi for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
"Savi is a unique and exciting prospect—both because of her Taiwanese heritage and her promising basketball abilities," Goodenbour said. "She is an excellent combo guard with high basketball IQ and great passing ability. She will develop and grow in our program and help make us a very solid team right away."
Mi, the fourth Taiwanese women's basketball player to compete at the Division I level in the last few seasons, joins the program on the Hilltop following a two-year career at Dodge City Community College, where she averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
In a breakout season at Dodge City in 2025-26, Mi appeared in all 33 games, averaged a career-best 13.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, and helped lead the Conquistadors to a 27-6 overall record. Ranking second on the team in scoring, she totaled 22 double-digit scoring games throughout the season, highlighted by a career-high 29 points on 62.5 percent (10-for-16) shooting against Hutchinson Community College in the Region 6 Tournament Semifinals on March 13.
The Taiwan native also led the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) and ranked sixth in the NJCAA in three-point field goal percentage at 44.7 percent. She also led the league in assists with 141 on the season and assists per game.
Following the campaign, Mi earned First Team All-KJCCC honors, was named to the Region 6 and NJCAA DI All-Tournament teams, and became the sixth player in program history to earn NJCAA DI First Team All-America honors.
She concluded her career in Dodge City ranking second in three-point field goal percentage (43.6 percent), fourth in career field goal percentage (50.6 percent), and career assists (225), and seventh in career made three pointers (109).
