- Before coming to the United States, Correa won and played in multiple national championship tournaments
- She was a four-year starter at setter for her secondary school, Sistema Elite de Ensino in Rio de Janeiro,
- A new program that earned two third-place finishes at the national tournament with her guiding the offense
- She played five years of club volleyball for Fluminense, one of the best and well-known clubs in Brazil
- She and her club won three national titles, one at U16 and two at U18.
- Was part of both the U16 and U18 teams simultaneously
- She also played for the Rio state team for four years, part of a national competition between regions in Brazil.
- They won the national state championship in 2015 and had three other top-five finishes.
