PRIOR TO USF (Bakersfield College): Hit .371 with a home run and 21 RBI his freshman season for the Renegades… was named First Team All-Western State Conference and an ABCA Rawlings Freshman All-American.
 
PREP CAREER: Played for Frontier High School (Bakersfield, Calif.) under John Moncier… hit .469 with eight home runs, 25 RBI and 14 stolen bases his senior season… hit .485 with seven home runs with 39 RBI his junior campaign… set a school record with three home runs against Liberty High School his junior season to go along with seven RBI… was named First team All-Conference twice and second team All-State… won the Central Valley championship his junior year.
