2012 TRACK & FIELD: Ran two personal best times during the season, 4:05.51 in the 1500m at the Cal All-Comers Meet (2/4) and 9:19.84 in the 3000mStpl at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (4/6).
2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Redshirt... ran 27:01 unattached at the USF Invitational
2011 TRACK & FIELD: Ran in nine races, competing mainly in the steeplechase and 1500m… won the first 3,000m steeplechase he competed in at the Johnny Mathis Invitational in 9:50.64… shaved more than 30 seconds off his steeplechase time to run a personal best 9:20.06 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4/22)… fastest time in 1500m came via a 4:06.02 at the Chico State Distance Carnival (4/9).
2010 CROSS COUNTRY: Finished fifth in the 5k open race at the Bronco Invitational in 25:46.
PREP CAREER: 2010 CIF San Diego Section finalist at 3200m… Owns prep bests of 4:23 for 1600m and 9:39.67 for 3200m.
PERSONAL: International Studies major with a Spanish minor in the dual degree teaching program… parents are Brian and Cynthia Smith.
