2016 (SENIOR): Selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 36th round (1,085 overall) of the 2016 MLB Draft... started 48 games behind the plate and made 50 appearances overall... became the everyday catcher after Dominic Miroglio’s injury on Feb. 27... hit .182 with six doubles and 20 RBI on the year... went a season-best 3-for-4 at Cal (Mar. 29)... drove in a season-high three runs at San Jose State (Mar. 15) and vs. San Diego (Apr. 22)... was responsible for both of USF's walk-off wins with a single in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Hawai’i (Feb. 27) and a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth vs. BYU (May 12)... tied for 3rd in the WCC with 22 runners caught stealing... threw out 49% of baserunners overall... won the USF Athletic Performance Carpe Diem Award... also won the team's Dante Benedetti Award (w/ Nico Giarratano) as the team MVP and the Troy Nakamura Kipona Aloha Award for the player who exemplifies courage, respect, culture and making the most of his skills.
2015 SUMMER: Played with the Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League... hit .230 in 45 games... collected six doubles, a home run and 12 RBI... drew 13 walks and stole two bases.
2015 (JUNIOR): Played in 24 games with 16 starts at catcher... hit .271 with a home run and seven RBI in 48 at bats... held a .992 fielding percentage while throwing out 40 percent of base runners... went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI against Utah Valley... went 4-for-4 on April 24 against Sacramento State.
2014 SUMMER: Hit .310 with two home runs and 21 RBI in 33 games for the Kitsap Bluejackets... named to the All-West Coast League Team... was teammates with Dons teammates Matt Narahara and Blake Valley.
2014 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 44 games with 33 starts... caught all 19 innings of USF's 4-3 win at No. 2 Cal State Fullerton... went 3-for-5 with a double against Loyola Marymount on Apr. 5... picked up two RBI on May 10 at Saint Mary's, going 2-for-4 on the day.
2013 (FRESHMAN): Played in 45 games, starting 43 behind the dish... Hit his first career home run at Arizona, went 1-for-2 with two RBI in the game... tied for sixth on the team with 18 RBI... Caught the bulk of the innings and helped guide the USF pitching staff to a 3.36 team ERA... held a fielding percentage of .997.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-sport athlete (baseball and basketball) at Santa Margarita Catholic High School ... was selected to the Orange County All-Star game and to the Ryan Lemmon Sophomore Showcase ... earned academic achievement award while participating in the Trinity League.
