SUMMER 2016: Closer for Bethesda Big Train... led team in appearances, ERA (1.35) and saves... selected for Cal Ripken Collegiate League Allstar Team along with USF teammate Allen Smoot... over 10 Big Train appearances, 9 scoreless... over last 18 combined WCC and Cal Ripken League appearances, 16 scoreless with 1.82 ERA (5 runs /24.2 IP)... pitched in 42 percent of Big Train wins... ranked among Cal Ripken League leaders in relief appearances, ERA and saves... held opposing hitters to .288 OBA and 1.12 WHIP... over a six day period, pitched four times, all in Big Train wins, recording a win, save and hold, and pitched 2 2/3 innings in the 10th through 13th innings (striking out 3 of first 4 batters faced) in a tie game that Bethesda ultimately won in 15 innings... only allowed 2 walks facing 55 batters on the summer... in 2016 combined USF and Big Train seasons, pitched 46.2 innings over 39 appearances, while recording 4 wins, 6 saves, 8 holds (46 percent of appearances), 4.05 era (21 runs/ 46.2 ip) and only allowing 7 walks facing 193 batters.

2015 SUMMER: Played with the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League... made four appearances, tossing 7.2 innings... tallied six strikeouts. 

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Became one of the team's more reliable relievers down the stretch... entered 16 games and threw 21 innings... threw multiple innings in three straight outings and went 9.1 innings and allowed two earned runs... over his first two seasons in relief on the Hilltop, boasted an inherited runner strand rate of 80 percent, stranding 25 of 32 runners overall and 21 of 24 runners inherited on first and second base... went a season-long 3.2 innings against BYU with one earned run and three strikeouts on April 23... over his last 11 appearances, he threw 17 innings and complied a 3.18 ERA with 13 strikeouts and four walks… he entered in eighth inning of important season ending series with LMU on May 16 with bases loaded and one out and induced the 6-4-3 double play to end the inning... went 2.2 scoreless innings on April 21 and entered in the third inning of a 2-1 game with two on and one out against Sacramento State and got the strikeout-throw out double play to end the inning... pitched three innings against No. 19 Nevada on April 13 and allowed one run with four swinging strikeouts… pitched on Opening Day at  No. 5 Texas Tech and allowed one run over two innings, including stretch of facing nine Red Raider batters where he threw 19 strikes in 20 pitches… in his six WCC appearances, he threw 9.1 innings with a 2.89 ERA, six strikeouts, and two walks.

2014 SUMMER: Pitched in 11 games for the Humboldt Crabs of the West Coast League... compiled a 1.69 ERA in 16 innings and held batters to a .190 average with a 0.875 WHIP... retired 17 of last 20 batters faced to end season.

2014 (FRESHMAN): Came on strong out of the bullpen his freshman season... was unscored upon in his first six outings, including appearances at Stanford and No. 2 Cal State Fullerton... appeared in 17 games and threw 18 innings… in 11 relief appearances with 20 inherited runners on base, only allowed 6 runners to score… on March 25 in Dons’ 8-4 win over  No. 7 Oregon, entered in sixth inning with runners on first and third, no outs and allowed no runs, with two strikeouts... on May 16 vs. UC Santa Barbara, entered in eighth inning with bases loaded, one out and allowed no runs with one strikeout... on April 2 vs. Sacramento State, entered in fifth inning with runners on second and third, one out and allowed no runs with two strikeouts... in first WCC appearance on March 21 vs. BYU, entered in fifth inning with runner on second base, no outs and allowed no runs with two strikeouts... pitched 1.1 scoreless innings in the Dons' March 2 win over Sacramento State... no earned runs allowed in 6 of 7 away game appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Began high school at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco before transferring to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. As a senior, Meyer had 42 strikeouts in 39 innings, with 33 scoreless innings, 2.15 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 4-1 record. He was named Best Pitcher and All-Tournament Team in the 2012 Sarasota Baseball Classic (16 teams), after he threw six shutout innings in the Championship game (4 2/3 perfect innings and 6 K's, no walks). IMG Academy won its first Sarasota Classic Tourney, 1-0. While at IMG, Meyer pitched in tournaments in Arizona and California, including two starts in the semifinals of the Annual National Classic at Cal State Fullerton. He made four starts as a junior at IMG, including a semifinal win in the South Florida Classic and six one-run innings pitched against Seminole High, in the championship game of the Annual Georgiades Tampa Classic. Meyer was named Rawlings California All-State Honorable Mention in 2013. The 6-foot right hander made 20 appearances out of the bullpen for the California Warriors Collegiate summer team in 2013, including a win in relief against the Humboldt Crabs.

PERSONAL: Meyer's parents are Paul and Amy and live in San Francisco. Mack’s younger brother, Steele, a former Junior Don, attended St. Ignatius College Prep, where he also played baseball. Steele in his first year at the University of Virginia.
