2017 (FRESHMAN): Made 18 appearances in his first year on the Hilltop… made his lone start at second base at Hawaii on Feb. 26… registered 12 at bats on the year… drove in a run with a sacrifice fly at BYU on Apr. 27… scored a run as a pinch-runner in a win over San Jose State on May 12.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Kurt Miyahira at Iolani School... was a two-time Honolulu Star Advertiser first-team All-State honoree... earned All-Hawaii honorable mention honors as a senior, hitting .370 with two home runs and 13 RBI... also took home second-team all-league recognition... as a junior, hit .279 en route to all-league honorable mention honors... earned first-team all-league honors as a sophomore and was named first-team All-Hawaii after hitting .347 with 11 runs scored... played summer ball with Team Hawaii and the Hawaii Baseball Group.
PERSONAL: Born Mar. 8, 1998, in Honolulu, HI… parents are David and Eliza Campos… planning to major in business administration... career goal is to one day own a business or company after he graduates, while hoping to take baseball as far as he can... played in the 2010 Little League World Series for the U.S. champions from Waipio, HI... was part of his high school orchestra and was a member of the Honor Roll... enjoys going to the beach, surfing, fishing, watching movies, and eating good food.
