**2020 (JUNIOR): Made seven relief appearances in the Dons' shortened season ... Allowed zero or only one run in six of his seven games, posting a 3-0 record, 2.79 ERA and holding opponents to a .169 batting average against ... Had nearly a 3-to-1 strikeouts-to-walks ratio with 25 Ks against only nine walks ... Struck out a season-high nine while earning the victory with four innings of relief at Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 28) ... Struck out six in 4 2/3 innings of work at CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 21) ... Earned the win in extra innings at California with two innings of shutout relief in the ninth and 10th (March 8).
2019 (SOPHOMORE):Â Appeared in 21 games with three starts on the mound, leading the Dons in strikeouts, ERA and opponents' batting average (.226) as one of the best arms out of the bullpen ... Was named all-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention after finishing among the conference's top-12 in strikeouts (3rd, 90), saves (7th, 6) and ERA (11th, 3.30) ... Earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention with his 3.52 cumulative GPA in business administration ... Had 12 shutout appearances, all of them at least one inning long ... Tallied at least one strikeout in all 21 of his appearances, had multiple strikeouts in 18 of them, and had at least four Ks in 12 games ... All six of his saves were multi-inning appearances, and his single-season saves total ranked tied for seventh at USF ... Had a career outing in six innings of shutout relief versus UC Riverside (March 10). He entered in the eighth and only allowed one hit his entire outing. He struck out a career-high 11 with multiple strikeouts in four of his six frames, earning the victory in the 13th ... Also earned another extra-innings victory on April 14 versus Saint Mary's with four shutout innings of relief. He entered in the ninth with two on and three runs already scored and promptly got three outs, then only allowed one more base runner over the next three innings with five strikeouts before USF walked off in the 12th.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Made 23 appearances with three starts on the mound in his first season of college baseball ... His collegiate career debut came on the second day of the season at UTSA, throwing a season-long 3 2/3 innings and striking out a season-high four while not allowing an earned run (Feb. 17) ... Didn't allow an earned run in 17 of his appearances; didn't allow any runs in 15 of them ... Had a streak of six straight scoreless outings from March 17 to April 2, throwing 5 2/3 innings with only three hits allowed ... Made his first career start on March 8 versus Xavier and made two more at Nevada (May 8) and versus UC Davis (May 15) ... Had multiple strikeouts in 10 outings ... Finished the year with an 0-2 record, 3.44 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, Calif., under head coach Jon Norfolk ... Was a first team all-MVALÂ pitcher as a senior in 2017, going 5-3 with seven saves and a 1.31 ERA ... Struck out 80 against only 28 walks while holding opponents to just a .130 batting average that season, helping lead the Mariners to a berth in the California Interscholastic Federation North Coast Section Division III playoffs ... Also hit .349 with five doubles, a home run, 11 RBIs, an on-base percentage of .421 and eight stolen bases as a two-way threat ... Went 2-3 with a save and a 3.46 ERA as a junior in 2016 as part of the Mariners' starting rotation ... Had two doubles, a triple, a home run and four stolen bases that year.
