2017 (FRESHMAN): Made three appearances out of the bullpen in his first year on the Hilltop… threw 2/3 of an inning in his collegiate debut at Albany in the Coastal Carolina Tournament on Mar. 3… threw 1/3 of an inning at San Diego on Apr. 2… had his longest outing of the year with 1 1/3 innings at BYU on Apr. 27... allowed five earned runs while striking out two altogether.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Brian Jeffery at Cambridge High School in Milton, Georgia... was a four-year honor roll student and first-team 5A All-Region pitcher in 2016 while also being named to the 5A All-State second team in the same year... Cambridge High School's 2016 pitcher of the year... posted a 10-2 record with a 1.50 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with 65 strikeouts in 63.1 innings pitched... the 10 wins and 63.1 innings pitched are both school records... also threw the school's first no-hitter... the Cambridge team went 25-6 and made the state playoffs in his senior season.
PERSONAL: Born Feb. 19, 1998 in Marietta, Georgia... had never been west of Alabama before attending USF... when he is not playing or practicing he likes to be fishing and listening to country music... a finance major with his eyes set on earning a Master's degree in finance.
