2013 SEASON: Became one of the Dons' best starters in conference play... made eight appearances in WCC action (six starts) and compiled a 4-1 record with a 2.60 ERA... Went 5.1 innings allowing one earned run against San Diego State on Apr. 29... Appeared in 19 games for the Dons with 10 starts... threw 75.1 innings with a 3.70 ERA...Earned a spot on the All-WCC Team and on the WCC All-Academic Team.
2012 SEASON (Redshirt Sophomore): Compiled stellar numbers in first full season at USF ... went 8-4 with a 2.18 ERA, compiling a 66-to-12 strikeout-to-walk ratio ... named WCC Rawlings Pitcher of the Week twice in 2012, one of only two pitchers in the conference to win the award multiple times ... named WCC Pitcher of the Month in May, putting together a perfect 3-0 record with a 0.77 ERAm and did not walk a single batter in 23.1 innings pitched ... first career complete game came against Pepperdine on May 4, when he allowed one earned run in a 7-2 victory over the Waves ... named to the WCC All-Academic team, earning the highest grade point average (3.91) in the conference ... ranked second in the WCC in wins (8), sixth in ERA (2.18), and eighth in batting average against (.245) ... pitched at least 7.0 innings in seven of his 14 starts ... did not walk a batter in seven of his 14 starts, finishing the season with a 1.04 WHIP.Â
2011 SEASON: Redshirt season at USF.
2010 SUMMER: Played for the New Bedford Bay Sox in the New England Collegiate Baseball League ... put in 35.1 innings of work, walking just two batters and collecting two saves.
2010 SEASON (Freshman): Made 15 appearances and pitched 26.2 innings … posted a 1-2 record with 15 strikeouts and a 6.75 ERA … threw a hitless inning at Cal Poly (2/26) … struck out three in 2.2 scoreless innings at Cal Poly (2/28) … fanned three batters in two innings of scoreless work against Texas San Antonio (3/5) … held Cal State Bakersfield scoreless for an inning (3/10) … pitched three scoreless innings with three strikeouts against UC Santa Barbara (3/28) … longest outing of the season was 3.1 innings against California (3/23).
PREP CAREER:Â Played baseball at George Washington High School ... earned two second-team all-conference honors and two first-team all-conference honors ... named honorable mention all-state ... graduated eighth out of 400 students with a 4.93 GPA.
