- Pacific came out swinging for the second consecutive game, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning to gain an early 3-0 advantage. Jack Metcho led off with a five-pitch walk and quickly swiped second to get into scoring position. The Tigers bombarded the Dons with three straight hits shortly after, two doubles and a single, to score the game's opening runs.
- San Francisco answered in the bottom half of the first as Fung scored on a Kody Watanabe RBI groundout to cut the Tigers' lead to 3-1. Fung reached to begin the inning on a hit by pitch and made his way around the basepath on a wild pitch and two groundouts to score the Dons' opening run.
- Two more runs came across for the Tigers in the third inning, pushing their lead to a commanding 5-1 edge.
- The Dons battled back in the bottom half of the fourth, scoring three runs to cut the deficit to within 5-4. Logan Leax kickstarted the rally with a leadoff single, and despite Zack Ramppen later hitting into a double play, Leax advanced to third with two outs. Three straight baserunners reached as Logan Azem recorded a double to score Leax, and after a Charles-Etienne Pelletier walk, Fung found the right-center field gap and drove in a pair with a double to get the green and gold to within one.
- In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Dons scored three runs to take their first lead at 7-5. Leax punched a leadoff single to center field and advanced to third on a Ramppen base hit. With runners on the corners, Azem tagged his second double in the following at-bat, sending a shot to right field to score Leax. After Pelletier fouled out, Fung put the Dons ahead with a single up the middle, scoring Azem and pinch runner Tyvon Moore.
- Gabriel Barrett shut the door on Pacific in the final half frame, putting the Tigers down in order to solidify the victory.
- Fung led the Dons offensively, going two-for-four at the plate with a double and a career-high four RBI.
- Azem also produced a two-hit performance, posting two doubles, two RBI, and scoring two runs.
- Hunter Holzemer and Barrett pitched the game's final five innings, combining for two hits, three walks, and three strikeouts.
