2022 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Appeared in all 57 games for the Dons with 55 starts…began the season with a homerun in the first game against Santa Barbara on 2/18…had a total of 6 home runs…led the team with 45 RBI…recorded an overall fielding percentage of .967 in the outfield…finished second in the conference in stolen bases with 21 total…finished in the top ten in plate appearances in the WCC with 250…named a WCC Honorable Mention.
2021 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Made 48 appearances and started in 38 games for the Dons...Williams III bat heated up in the second half of the season as he hit all five of his home runs against fellow WCC opponents...Spent time in all three outfield positions and went a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts.
**2020 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Appeared in 15 games with nine starts (seven in left field, two at designated hitter) in his first full season of college baseball ... Batted .378 (14 for 37) with two doubles, three RBIs and four runs scored ... Made his collegiate career debut on the second day of the season at CSUNÂ (Feb. 15), appearing as a pinch-hitter and singling in his first career at-bat, later coming around to score ... Made his first career start the following Tuesday, going 1 for 3 with a walk in a 6-0 midweek win versus UC Davis (Feb. 18) ... Had at least one hit in 12 of 15 games played with two multi-hit performances ... Went 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored coming off the bench in the final game of the season, a 12-4 win over Sacramento State (March 10) ... Was perfect in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage (10 total chances).
2019 (FRESHMAN): Redshirt season.
PRIOR TO USF: Was a multi-sport letterwinner at Denver North High School, playing four years of varsity baseball and also lettering in soccer ... Crushed it at the plate for four years for the Vikings, batting .513, slugging .803 and carrying an on-base percentage of .598 in 73 career varsity games ... Hit an astronomical .661 and slugged 1.089 with 11 doubles, five triples, a home run and 28 RBIs as a senior in 2018 ... Also had 10 doubles, three triples and three home runs while batting .485 his junior year (2017) ... Never batted lower than .441, slugged lower than .542 or had an on-base percentage lower than .533 in his four-year prep career ... Stole 27 bases (87.1% success rate) in high school ... Helped lead Denver North High to three straight Denver Prep League titles and three consecutive appearances in the Colorado High School Activities Association 4A playoffs, including a 20-1 season in 2017 ... Was ranked among the top-50 Colorado high school players by "Perfect Game," including the No. 7 outfielder in the state ... Was named a Preseason all-West Region Honorable Mention as a senior by "Perfect Game."
