
San Francisco Blanked by San Jose State on Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (20-22) dropped its final midweek home game of the season, falling to San Jose State (18-24) 12-0 in seven innings Tuesday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- San Francisco managed three chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position. The Dons last put a runner on third in the fifth inning, when Zach Nagy made it 90 feet away with one out.
- Zach Nagy recorded San Francisco's lone multi-hit performance, going two-for-three at the plate, with two singles.
- Trevor Busby, Jordan Lewis, Eddison Esquivel, and Nick Walsh also recorded hits for the green and gold, with Walsh and Lewis registering an extra-base knock apiece.
- On the mound in relief, Braden Wellen pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and struck out a team-high three batters.
