SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (20-22) dropped its final midweek home game of the season, falling to San Jose State (18-24) 12-0 in seven innings Tuesday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

San Francisco managed three chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position. The Dons last put a runner on third in the fifth inning, when Zach Nagy made it 90 feet away with one out.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Zach Nagy recorded San Francisco's lone multi-hit performance, going two-for-three at the plate, with two singles.
Trevor Busby, Jordan Lewis, Eddison Esquivel, and Nick Walsh also recorded hits for the green and gold, with Walsh and Lewis registering an extra-base knock apiece.
On the mound in relief, Braden Wellen pitched 1.2 scoreless innings and struck out a team-high three batters.
