2015 SEASON (Senior): Was critical piece out of the bullpen... pitched in 14 games and threw 12.0 innings... had a six outing stretch between Mar. 1 and April 6 in which he did not allow a run... went a season-long two shutout innings against San Jose State on Feb. 17.

PRIOR TO USF (Furman University): He appeared in 15 games for Furman (Greenville, S.C.) in 2014 and recorded a 4.91 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 14.1 innings…. In 2012, he pitched in 11 games and struck out eight in 13 innings.
 
PREP CAREER: Played for Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallington, Conn.) and was named First Team All-Prep A and All-Founders League in 2010 and second team All-Prep A in 2008 and 2009.
 
PERSONAL: Born on July 29, 1991 in Rumson, N.J. … is the son of Michael and Denise Buonopane… has three younger siblings (Joe, Carlo and Maria)… enjoys surfing, skiing, boating, traveling and golfing… has sailed around the British Virgin Islands… is pursuing his master’s in business administration and considering a career in management consulting.
