2012 SEASON: Played in 19 games and started in two behind the plate... hit .143 (3-for-21) with one run scored and one RBI... fielded perfect 1.000 at catcher with 51 put outs and six assists... first collegiate hit was a pinch-hit single against Missouri (2/26)... first collegiate RBI came in a 1-for-2 day againsit Cal Poly (3/4).

PREP CAREER: Two sport athlete (football and baseball)... Named to Dream Team in both football and baseball. Voted league MVP in football... Named First-Team All-League in baseball for three consecutive years... Made Honor Roll every year.

PERSONAL: Born in June of 1992 in Long Beach, CA... Parents are Tim and Kaylene Schultz... Plans to be a professional baseball player or a fireman... Lists biggest sports thrill as throwing someone out at second base... Goal for the season is to do whatever he can to help the team win...
